Relaunched in 2009 after having been founded as one of many diffusion lines in 1989 and closed in 2005, with the hiring of UK designer Christopher Kane, Versace presents the next chapter in the Versus history, working since this year with J.W. Anderson. The relaunch was much anticipated and today we can finally give you a look at the new collection lookbook. Staying true to the heritage of the Italian luxury label, Versus uses bold patterns and prints in its new collection, while giving them a more modern and youthful appeal. Slim silhouettes make up the men’s and women’s collections, which are dominated by strong color options and tonal outfits. One has to see if Versace can capture that younger audience with Versus and stay relevant in the fashion market,NIKE KYRIE 2 which seemed like a struggle in the last decade. In an interview shot exclusively for us, Abloh elaborates further on his ideas for the space and how the glass facade was informed by his architectural background. As well as nodding to Warholian theory, Abloh also gives a shout out to some of his favorite designers, while eagle-eyed viewers will notice a cosign for Hermes and a diss seemingly aimed at Android users. Just having finished its Nike Air Trainer 1 collaboration, the team around Hiroshi Fujiwara has already jumped into the next partnership. The designer’s passion for skateboarding culture and functional, timeless products makes him the perfect partner for the Converse CONS collection. Together the two present the fragment design x Converse CONS CTS Ox collection for Fall 2015. While staying true to the original, the heavy vintage canvas uppers are finished in three classic colorways as part of the collection – black, parchment and navy. Each sneaker comes with contrasting white stitching and nickel hardware. Furthermore there are two bold metallic striped versions, finished in silver and gold on a clean white base, with tonal hardware. Subtle fragment design branding is placed on the mid-sole,NIKE AIR MAX 90 which has become a bit of a signature for the brand.
