Progetto CMR is an Architecture Firm whose strong points are
cooperation, internationality and sustainability: the Firm has ten
offices around the world, three departments (Design, Engineering and
Architecture) and 160 professionals including architects, engineers and
designers.To get more news about

In 2018 Progetto CMR decided to bring rock and sustainability to its
Milanese home in via Russoli, a former industrial area which has become a
local hotspot: thanks to this important renovation work the Firm has
reduced its energy consumption and CO2 emissions, and is able to better
manage its ventilation and air conditioning.
The concept behind this project is that of smart working: each space is
designed to change according to work objectives and the innovative
materials chosen reflect the requirements of the Firm. The WoodN team
participated in the project development and in the construction of the
façades from the very start, offering our systems and products made of
engineered wood. An embodiment of beauty and flexibility, we have chosen
a line of sunshades that portrays the perfect outdoor product: it is
light, sturdy and fire, water and wind resistant.
In fact, we covered the main façades of the new building with the JF
18041 profile, thus providing solar protection to the structure in order
to achieve the goal of sustainability, living comfort and low
consumption required by architect Massimo Roj. The new location has a
strong sustainable footprint and was designed to obtain the Leed
certification.
By selecting this application we were able to achieve maximum
customization in the design of the façade: with about 30 profiles
featuring different sections, this sunshade family offers a variety of
customization options and structural solidity.
