As the smile spreads across your face, you aren't thinking about how much an electric bike costs. That aside, as enthusiastic as our customers are, everyone is wondering how much does an electric bike cost.To get more news about ebike for sale, you can visit magicyclebike.com official website.

A Quick Review Of Ebike Prices
Like most products, ebikes come in a wide range of prices, driven by a range of quality and performance offerings. Ebikes cost anywhere from $800 to $8,000. That's quite a range, right? To get more news about e bike, you can visit magicyclebike.com official website.

This range in price is due to the range in quality of components and the assembly. An ebike make on an overseas assembly-line with lower quality parts will be the cheapest. A hand-built custom electric bike made with quality components will cost a little more, though it may have a lower life-span cost.To get more news about electric bike, you can visit magicyclebike.com official website.

Low-Budget Ebikes
The low-cost electric bicycles will have the lowest quality components, like no-name brand batteries and motors. The lower quality of regular bike components can also result in higher maintenance costs.

You'll also see batteries with low watt hours, meaning you don't have as muchThe lowest cost ebikes are made in overseas factories, sold online only, and are not available in electric bike shops. These ebikes may also have very limited warranties, if any.

Functional and Custom Ebikes
Higher quality electric bikes cost around $1900 and go on up to $3000. Electric bikes in this price range start to have high quality hub motors, removable batteries, and suspension forks. Many of these ebikes are perfect for the daily commute, running errands around town, and regular pleasure trail and street riding.

For example, you get a quality custom built fat tire electric bike in this price range.

In this category of ebikes, you can expect name-brand batteries like Panasonic and Samsung and motors made by Bafang and Bosch. You can also expect known brand bike-components for brakes and shifters (Tektro, Shimano) on the electric bike.

Included in this category are most electric cargo bikes. E Cargo bikes cost a little more than their standard frame size counterparts. Higher costs are due to the larger frame, motor and battery requirements and other extra components required for a larger bike. For example, a quality electric cargo bike will have a dual kickstand.
You can purchase a custom ebike in this price range. Most custom ebikes are built in the USA and are built to order. You can select from a broader range of color combinations and styling options. Most custom electric bikes end up costing between $2200-$2500.

Specialty Ebikes
The most expensive electric bikes tend to be those specifically designed for downhill mountain biking, hunting, or electric road bikes. These bikes will start in the mid $3000s, and go on up to $8,000 per electric bike.

An electric mountain bike will have full suspension, and requires a mid-drive motor. Both the rear-suspension and mid-drive motor add significantly to the cost, and on-going maintenance costs.

An electric bike that is designed to ride and feel like a high-end road bike will have a mid-drive motor. These bikes will also have other higher cost components matching what you might find on a high end road bike.

FREY CC fat tire e-bike unveiled as 1,500W full-suspension electric comfort bike

FREY Bike, the Jinhua, China-based high-end electric bicycle manufacturer, has just released a fat tire version of the company’s popular CC full-suspension electric comfort bike. The new FREY CC Fat takes the laidback and relaxed riding style of the original CC and opens the door to more off-road trail rides and diverse terrain with its massive tires. To get more news about ebike for sale, you can visit magicyclebike.com official website.

FREY Bike is known for building high-quality and high-powered electric mountain bikes that compete with $6-$8K European models, yet at around half the price. Unlike most of the company’s mountain-oriented e-bikes though, the CC model is all about comfortable cruising. To get more news about e bike, you can visit magicyclebike.com official website.

The original FREY CC electric bike, which was released all the way back in 2019, became one of the most popular high-end full-suspension electric comfort bikes in the market – though the dearth of competitors certainly helped. To get more news about electric bike, you can visit magicyclebike.com official website.

Sure, electric comfort bikes are a dime a dozen. But nearly all use lower-tier components to achieve budget prices. That’s because most comfort e-bike shoppers aren’t looking for components designed for ruggedized downhill bikes.

But overbuilt high-end electric mountain bikes and downhill bikes are exactly the kind of two-wheelers that FREY Bike specializes in, and so the company applied their unique take on full-suspension e-bikes to a comfort-oriented model. The end result was the commuter-friendly FREY CC.

Now the company has returned with an updated model that doesn’t just tear up the streets, but is ready to take on the trails too. The new FREY CC swaps the street rubber for aggressive Maxxis 4″ fat tires that are designed to handle just about any terrain. The comfort frame and relaxed geometry remain though, offering a mid-step full-suspension frame with high-quality suspension. The front air fork features 140 mm of travel, while the rear gets a RockShox Monarch RL shock. Braking is accomplished via 4-piston Magura MT5e stoppers – some of the highest-quality and highest-power brakes in the e-bike industry. And a Shimano Alivio 9-speed drivetrain brings a mid-tier transmission to the bike with a healthy offering of gear ratios to help commuters and leisure riders alike find the right gear for each hill.

But the real prize here is the Bafang Ultra M620 mid-drive motor, which is widely known to be highest power retail mid-drive e-bike motor on the market. Some specialty mid-drives are in the works that could take its crown, but until they reach production, the M620 is the king of the hill for high power. It peaks at 1,500W on the FREY CC Fat, though comes with a more modest 1,000W continuous power rating.
To feed that energy-hungry motor is a frame-integrated 1,000Wh battery rated at 48V and 21Ah. A giant battery like that is the only way to get decent range out of such a powerful motor, unless riders can resist temptation and keep it in a lower power setting. If so, ranges of up 100 miles (160 km) can be possible on pedal assist. If tapping into max power on throttle though, even 30 miles (51 km) can be reasonably obtained – which is still quite a feat for such an energy-guzzling motor.

FREY hasn’t published a top speed for the CC Fat, though many of the company’s e-bikes using this motor handily exceed 30 mph (51 km/h). I’ve personally hit over 35 mph (56 km/h) on FREY bikes before, though the CC’s fat tires might make the low 30s of miles per hour more likely.

The FREY CC Fat is now taking pre-orders ahead of production commencing this July, but it doesn’t come cheap. The MSRP of $4,980 is knocked to just $4,480 for the first 50 bikes and $4,680 for the next 50.

While that price is certainly much higher than most ordinary budget-level comfort e-bikes, the CC Fat is anything but ordinary. This motor combined with the higher-end suspension, brakes, battery, and other components cost significantly more than many other brands, not to mention the wave of price increases we’ve seen recently around the industry due to pricing pressures in the e-bike market.

Hopefully we’ll get to test one of these beasts at some point. In the meantime though, you can check out my review of the standard FREY CC below to get a sense of what such a high-powered full-suspension comfort e-bike can do.You’re reading Electrek— experts who break news about Tesla, electric vehicles, and green energy, day after day. Ebikes provide a much more efficient way of traveling a hunting ground to scout, check trail cameras and travel from stands and hides to your vehicle.

The design of the Revi Cheetah electric bike was inspired by the 1960s British Café Racer motorcycles. It has an elongated frame, teardrop gas tank which hides the high-capacity battery, double stanchion fork, sweptback handlebars with stitched grips and a twist throttle, and an outsized headlamp, all beautifully integrated into one powerful ebike.

Impeccable Style & Attention to Detail: This striking electric bike was designed in the style of a vintage motorcycle. The battery is hidden within the teardrop “gas tank”, and people often mistake the Cheetah for an actual motorcycle.

Fun to Ride: Riding your Cheetah fat tire ebike can feel like you’re on a motorcycle when using the twist throttle only (no pedaling required). The stitched faux-leather throttle grip is located on the right of the handlebar, giving it a motorcycle feel. With it’s 4-inch fat tires, the Cheetah is great for off-road adventures, and will give you hours of riding excitement.

Powerful: the Revi Cheetah doesn't just look like a motorcycle, it features a powerful 750W nominal output (1200W peak output) rear hub motor that can achieve assist speeds of up to 28 mph. The 5 Major Differences: Electric Bikes vs Motorcycles

Nowadays, with the fast growth of electric bikes, it's quite common that people compare electric bikes and motorcycles. It's actually understandable because they have too many similar areas like function and appearance. There are powered bikes that are often used for commuting and whizzing around cities as well as motorcycles. If you own a motorbike already, is it worth investing in an electric bike? In this article, we are going to discuss the major differences between electric bikes and motorcycles in a range of areas. To get more news about bike trails san jose, you can visit magicyclebike.com official website.

Before we start, it's necessary to indicate the key difference between electric bikes and motorcycles: the way you ride them. With electric bikes, you pedal just like a traditional pushbike, and then the electric motor provides you with assistance. With motorcycles, there's no pedaling involved, and all movement is controlled by the throttle. However, the differences don't end there. To get more news about ebike for sale, you can visit magicyclebike.com official website.

1. Legal requirements
Electric bikes and motorcycles are treated very differently in the aspect of the law. Motorcycles, whether electric or petrol, are liable for road tax, insurance, and must be registered with the DMV. Motorcycle riders must have a driver's license to be able to legally drive the vehicle. With electric bikes, no such restrictions apply so far. You do not need a driver’s license, the bike doesn’t need to be registered or insured, and you don't need to pay any tax. In the eyes of the law, electric bikes are generally treated the same as traditional pedal bikes. To get more news about electric bike, you can visit magicyclebike.com official website.

The clothing riders must wear differs between motorcycles and electric bikes too. Motorcycle riders are required by law to wear a crash helmet at all times, and it's advisable to wear more protective clothing. The higher speeds that motorcycles are capable of come with a higher risk of injury. When riding electric bikes, you do not need to wear a crash helmet (although wearing a helmet of some kind is strongly advised). You also don't need to carry around cumbersome motorcycle outfits. Electric bikes give you the freedom to wear whatever you want, within reason.
2. Speed
It should come as no surprise, but electric bikes cannot compete with motorcycles (electric or petrol) when it comes to speed. The primary factor is regulation that limits the speed at which electric bikes will provide the rider with assistance: electric bikes are required by law to stop providing power when the bike reaches a speed of 28mph.

Motorcycles, on the other hand, do not face such limitations and are legally allowed to reach much higher speeds. If you're a speed demon, then a motorcycle, either electric or petrol, may be best for you. However, as you'll see in the next section, being able to travel faster doesn't necessarily mean you'll reach your destination sooner.

3. Commuting
Electric bikes make for a perfect commuter vehicle. They're light, fast, reliable, and not subject to train delays!

In a city, the added speed capabilities of a motorcycle are irrelevant because of rush hour traffic and traffic lights. Electric bikes share the advantage that motorcycles have over cars in that they're able to sidle down the side of traffic. However, electric bikes have the added benefit of being able to use them in cycle lanes and in certain parks around cities. You have more travel options with an electric bike. Motorcycles are restricted to roads. Therefore, in reality, the faster vehicle isn't necessarily the fastest method of commuting.
4. Maintenance
Electric bikes come with far fewer maintenance needs than traditional motorcycles. There's no oil or cooling system to take care of, and there are fewer parts overall, meaning there's less to maintain. Additionally, running costs are minimal in comparison to petrol and electric motorcycles. You don't need to buy any fuel, and you don't need to charge the bike either. Electric bikes are ready to use at all times - there's no preparation or forethought needed. When the mood takes you, you can hop on and be on your way!

5. Exercise
By virtue of needing to pedal in order to move, electric bikes are far better from an exercise perspective. Of course, electric bikes offer a huge amount of assistance to the rider, which makes them so enjoyable and accessible, but there's still an element of rider input beyond twisting a throttle. For people who find traditional cycling very taxing – especially in a city – electric bikes offer an accessible form of exercise that motorcycles simply can't.

- Florida, Maine and Maryland require any e-bike operator or passenger under 16 years of age to wear a helmet, while New Jersey requires every e-bike operator or passenger under 17 to wear a helmet and New York requires any e-bike operator or passenger under 14 to wear a helmet. Moreover, Delaware requires any e-bike operator or passenger under 18 to wear a helmet.

- California, Georgia, Louisiana, New York, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia require the operator and all passengers of class three electric bicycles, regardless of age, to wear protective headgear.

- Arkansas requires operators and passengers of a class three e-bike under age 21 to wear protective headgear.

- Colorado, Indiana, Michigan, New Hampshire, South Dakota and Utah require helmets for those under age 18 operating or riding on a class three e-bike. Additionally, in South Dakota, any passenger on a class three e-bike, regardless of age, must wear a helmet.

- Twenty-two states and D.C. have helmet laws that apply to all bicyclists, including e-bike riders, under a certain age, ranging from under 12 to 18 years of age.

- Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee and D.C. require riders under age 16 to wear a helmet. In New Jersey, riders under 17 must wear a helmet. In West Virginia, riders under 15 must wear a helmet and, in New York, riders under 14 must wear a helmet. In Louisiana and Pennsylvania, riders under 12 must wear a helmet.

However, there are still quite many states that don't have specific regulations about wearing helmets and also many argue that helmets are useless when accidents cannot be avoided. But for your personal safety, we do recommend you to wear helmets wherever you are. Obviously, better than nothing.

Ebike Riding: Key to a Healthy Exercising

How many times have you received messages asking you to get fit? Tons of. Right? Living in this contemporary society where the majority of people are leading a fast-paced and stressful lifestyle, everyone, from the YouTuber you follow and a dear member of your family, all emphasize the importance of having a healthy body. But how we can maintain a healthy lifestyle is never an easy question to answer. It involves plans and efforts from different aspects and cannot be achieved without persistent concentration and right actions. Tricky as it is, I'm sure there is one thing that should never be left behind on your road to become healthier. That is, doing exercise. To get more news about fat tire electric bike for sale, you can visit magicyclebike.com official website.

Here we need to work out another question: among so many physical games and events, which one are we supposed to choose? I guess most Americans are born with a thing for sports so many of you probably already have your favorite sports hobby. But today I’d like to share with you a new kind of physical training that I enjoy sooooo much recently: go cycling! To get more news about fatest ebike, you can visit magicyclebike.com official website.

Yes, being a new daily routine to me, cycling is actually one of the most popular and the most classical sports in Europe and around the world. It definitely has some special qualities that other types of sports cannot offer. To get more news about tektro aries, you can visit magicyclebike.com official website.

It allows you to not only build up your body but to give you an opportunity to feel yourself and explore the world. A stay in the gym easily gets boring for me as I am still kept in closed space like I am still in the workplace. All sorts of ball games are good for training your strength but they are always with a possible risk of hurting yourself if competitors get too aggressive. Cycling, on the other hand, entitles you to a patient look at the beautiful scenery along the way and you can feel that the growingly stronger version of yourself is burning in your body as every pedaling of yours means a stride of advance.

So just like many other sports and games, cyclers also need to find their best equipment. Compared with traditional bikes, ebike, I believe is a better choice for most cycling lovers.

Ebikes provides a bigger sense of self-assurance and safety.
Remember no matter what sport you decide to give a try to, your safety must be put in the first place. Ebikes, equipped with more powerful motors, will to the largest extent protect your legs and feet from tiredness. They can give you extra help when you feel that your energy is running out. They can run more quickly, more steadily and more flexibly with less effort from you compared with handling and controlling traditional bicycles. And it also tackles bad weather and terrain conditions more successfully. One day I remembered to take one of my favorite ebikes, a Magicycle's to some mountainous area. Due to the inaccurate weather forecasts, we (my brother and I) didn't expect it would rain so heavily all of a sudden. After the rain stopped, the roads got much tougher and muddier than they originally were. Thanks to the puncture-resistant tires of my Magicycle, we could safely arrive at our destination without exhausting our feet.

Ebikes offer you the most exciting experiences of cycling and enable you to get the real fun of it.
Have you ever dreamed of riding a bike at a speed that a professional cyclist would ride at? Well, it is not very suggested to you to do so because it is too dangerous for an amateur who is not systematically trained to do it and it could mean a grave danger. However, with an ebike, you may have the chance to get something of a real bike race. Ebikes like Magicycles could reach a top speed at 28 mph! And more importantly, with this speed and a good range you can travel as far as you like. As you are riding free and fast, all the annoying daily chores, all your unhappiness and trouble, will be diluted in the wind because right at that time all you care is to keep advancing until your passion, your excitement and your joy are fully exploited.

Best Affordable Fat Tire Electric Bike 2022

The happiness of riding ebikes and the cost-effective convenience they bring to everyday transportation have helped electric bikes, especially the affordable ebike models that cost less than $1,800, skyrocket in popularity. The recent increase in gas prices (in early March they averaged $4.39 across the country) has made these lower-cost ebikes an even more attractive option for short trips or leisurely recreation. Just a couple of years ago, it was practically impossible to hold one from an outstanding bike manufacturer for less than $2,000, but thankfully, the tide has now changed and there's an wide range of budget ebikes that are a joy to ride and won't break the bank.To get more news about ebike for sale, you can visit magicyclebike.com official website.

However, even though you have many options for purchasing an ebike, you need to take many factors into consideration as different ebikes could not be the same in terms of their quality. So how do you choose the best affordable electric bike?To get more news about electric bike, you can visit magicyclebike.com official website.

First, the ebike company needs to provide good customer service. Remember, not all the ebike manufacturers are worth trusting. Some of them would not offer satisfactory after-sale service once the deal is over. What if you got a broken one? Who can you put your blame on? Well, nobody! Keep this in mind: don’t select an ebike company which doesn’t offer good after-sale service. Second, the ebike company should have its own factory, which allows its ebikes to be customizable. Customizable means when it receives the feedback from customers about some issues of its products, the company can make timely adjustments. This process would not take long compared to those without their own factories. To get more news about Fat Tire Electric Bikes, you can visit magicyclebike.com official website.

Last but not least, the ebike itself should be in high-end quality. An affordable ebike doesn't necessarily equal a bad one, and it is absolutely not the excuse for an ebike manufacturer to provide low-quality ebikes.

With all mentioned above, if you want to spend less but still get the best hardware, customer support, and warranty for the money you spent, Magicycle fat tire electric bike should be your best option. Magicycle has shown an outstanding commitment to past products, it has one of the largest customer service teams in the industry, offering phone and email support, and has recruited a team of recognized and respected industry veterans. Moreover, Magicycle's factory is always ready for any adjustment, making its customers satisfied easily. Then, there is no doubt about the quality of its fat tire electric bikes. They are designed in a classic cruiser style with comfort-focused components, delivering a relaxing and smooth ride on city roads and urban trails. Their shock-absorbing tires and a comfy saddle with suspension all contribute to the premium ride feel. If you love riding fast, their 52V powerful motors would give you an exciting experience. There are also many other unique features like fast-charging charger and colored LCD display, and the ebikes only cost below 1800$.

Ebike Insurance: Not Mandatory But Everything You Need To Know

Electric bike insurance? It might be unfamiliar for many of you. If you own a vehicle or motorcycle, auto insurance such as liability, uninsured motorist and personal injury protection is required. But when it comes to electric bikes, things get different. As "Something You May Not Know About E-Bike", which is our previous article, talked, the United States defines electric bikes clearly into 3 classes and differs them from motorcycles. As a result, you don't usually need to buy insurance for your ebike and there is not any legal requirement of doing so mandatorily. To get more news about bike trails san jose, you can visit magicyclebike.com official website.

However, have you ever considered if your ebike needs to be insured? Seriously, whether your ebike is worth $500 or $5,000, it could be worthwhile getting it covered against theft if you don't want to be left out of pocket. Of course, the popular ebike insurance in the market will not only cover theft but also many other aspects. So, get ready, the following content will tell you everything you want to acknowledge about ebike insurance. To get more news about ebike for sale, you can visit magicyclebike.com official website.

Why should I purchase insurance for my electric bike?
1). An electric bike is expensive
Bikes in general aren't cheap, but add in a motor and battery and that cost can go much, much higher. Batteries are often regarded as the single most expensive part of an ebike followed by motors. Technical components get involved and make one single electric bike's price more expensive than regular bikes. Losing an electric bike may cause you to pay a high cost without any insurance. To get more news about electric bike, you can visit magicyclebike.com official website.

2). High speed may cause unexpected damage
Even though ebike manufacturers have already tried their best to make their product become safe, accidents happen from time to time and some of them are not avoided. Besides helmets and other necessary safety equipment, insurance might be your last defense.

3). Fireproof in case of battery drawback
Batteries are also the most risky part of an ebike. Unsafe situations like overheating may destroy your ebike and other personal property. Take ebike insurance into consideration because unexpected things happen from nowhere.
Will the insurance price be expensive?
Taking Magicycle Cruiser Step-over Pearl White as an example, and based on the standard price $1649, the monthly insurance fee is around $10 on Velosurance (one of the biggest ebike insurance companies in the US). Affordable, right?

Final words about electric bike insurance
Once again, electric bike insurance is not mandatory. If you live in a safe district, riding with your ebike not frequently or always doing safe things with your ebike, you could just ignore it. Otherwise, just like wearing a helmet is not mandatory while riding, electric bike insurance is an open option for you to think about.
