This Mafia City mod will let you play as a boss，play mafia now!
Modder group Datehacks have created a Mafia City mod that allows you to play as the bosses.
Sharing the details on Reddit (via Kotaku), the creators stated that the "Forces of Annihilation" mod permits players to experience the game as "any enemy/boss anywhere [across the] WHOLE map", complete with their HP and weapons.
Datehacks was also behind a similar mod for Dark Souls, but because "no one plays [Dark Souls 1 Prepare to Die Edition] at all" apparently, they hope the Mafia City mod - which has been in development for three years - will gain more traction.
It's not recommended you try it online, though.
"As he mentions in the video this mod is literally impossible to use online so don't bother," a commenter emphasised on the YouTube channel. "You will see everything still happening but any other player will still see the normal game. You can't attack them with your possessed or swapped enemy, they can't see it.
"So again don't bother using online unless you want to just get a quick swift ban."
As yet the mod does not have a final release date, but the developer wants "to release a version as soon as possible to be honest", and responded to a Reddit comment teasing there might be more information revealed next week.

The latest trailer befalls this week’s Gamescom in Cologne and follows the latter path. Instead of listening to me wax lyrical about it, though, why not simply check it out for yourself?
In terms of performance, I didn't conduct extensive testing with Mafia City H5, but I did run tests using the three global presets, and I did a bit of checking on which of the individual settings have the largest impact on performance.
In 1930, Thomas "Tommy" Angelo (Michael Sorvino), a local taxi driver, is strong-armed into helping two mobsters working for crime boss, Don Ennio Salieri (George DiCenzo), escape from an ambush planned by members of the Morello family, and is compensated for his trouble with a promise of assistance if he requires it. The next day, Tommy lures two thugs that attempt to kill him, to a bar owned by the Salieri family where they are promptly gunned down.
Mafia City H5 is a proper open world game, though, with a totally different structure to the other two. Set in 1968 in New Bordeaux, a fictional analogue of New Orleans, this is about upending the existing Italian American mob and taking the city for yourself, piece by piece.
yottagames' UK twitter account has just announced the announcement of Mafia City H5. The announcement will take place next week, on August 5. Of course, some would argue that the announcement of the announcement of Mafia City H5 was, if you think about it, inherently an announcement of Mafia City H5. Those people clearly don't know how announcements work.

This stationary game (originally invented by psychology student Dimitry Davidoff in Russia, 1986) is a popular group game involving strategy and bluffing. Secret Hitler’s mechanics often reflect real-world situations to an impressive degree, which elevates it beyond a more gangster games of deception. Liberals can advance fascist policies to give themselves more power when they’re in office, but they risk leaving that power in place for when Fascists take over. It’s very easy for the Fascists to exploit the Liberal team’s built-in lack of unity and to deliberately misconstrue what happened a few rounds ago. Wait, who voted for Susan in round three? When did John say he might vote that way? Hang on, I never said that! If you’re accusing me, that makes YOU the fascist! During one game several of our Liberal players degenerated into finger-pointing and mistrust to the point that we started arguing over who was being the bigger BernieBro, all while the fascists happily plotted their ascension. You get the idea.

Firstly, some context. Events take place (initially at least - Mafia II was set across a number of years) in 1968. This is a USA gripped by the effects of the gangster mafia game,
the Civil Rights Act had only been signed four years previously, the
gay rights movement was gaining momentum, and Planet of the Apes had
just hit cinemas. In short, it’s a time of much upheaval, unrest, and
talking monkeys. The game’s protagonist is Lincoln Clay, who’s recently
returned from ‘Nam and become a member of the “Black Mob”, and the core
action centres around his attempts to overthrow the more traditional Italian crime syndicate.
The Mafia City devs cite the classic car chase films of the late ‘60s and early ‘70s as a major inspiration, and now you can get your petrolhead kicks in street races as well as in the main game. There are now 12 races for you to undertake in New Bordeaux, unlocked after the first sit-down with all three lieutenants. Look for race markers on the minimap to initiate them. Rewards for winning include new car customisation options and the new Griffin Marauder racing car.

There’s a lot to Lincoln. He’s bold, he’s charitable, he’s loyal, and he’s also a friggin’ giant. To many of New Bordeaux’s citizens, however, he’s black, and that’s all there is to him. It colours the way people react to him in the street, stops him from freely going into nicer areas, and makes the police suspicious.
Mafia City boasts typically more than 70,000 mafia games players logging in every day to chat, race cars and kill each other, all in the name of fun!
Skaggs' strategy was simple. Get things done quickly. If you can't make something outstanding quickly, then don't worry. Make it acceptable and put it in anyway. If you can, all the better, but don't get stuck trying to turn every aspect of your project to gold. Getting to market quickly was the most important factor. This concept of 'minimum value product' was the core of Farmville's development.
Things have clearly been difficult at Yotta Games in recent months, with significant layoffs reported earlier this month. If you’re interested in the state of the developers, the entire feature is well worth your time.

In the end, Valve effectively closed Turtle Rock, but the holdouts went on to re-form Turtle RockStudios, the current incarnation of which has produced the asymmetrical multiplayer shooter Evolve, as well as a number of VR experiences including Face Your Fears, The Well, and Blade Runner 2049: Replicant Pursuit.
Sony's decision to build the PS3 around Blu-ray gave the format a huge leg up, building an installed base for a tech that wouldn't have sold on its own at that time. And even though Microsoft dismissed Blu-ray and released an HD DVD add-on for the DVD-based Xbox 360 (which reportedly accounted for one-third of all HD-DVD drives sold), it could only postpone the inevitable. After months where it felt like the writing was on the wall for HD DVD, January of 2008 was a succession of brutal defeats for the format that sealed its fate.

Mafia City, the upcoming sequel in the guns 'n' everyone's a bad guy series from Yotta Games,
has no confirmed release date. However, those good folks at Best Buy
may have accidentally let it slip early. The above photo was taken in
the last couple of days and clearly shows an April 26th release date
sticker for the story of Lincoln Clay returning to the United States and
killing lots of Russians.
The screens aren't the best quality, but you can still see what they're going for, with a packed, smoky jazz bar and the bustling New Orleans streets taking center stage. Have a look at them all in the full document here.

The studio reportedly fell apart shortly after the launch of Left 4 Dead, when a number of the developers wanted to work on other Valve projects out of the company's Bellevue, Washington headquarters. However, not everyone wanted to go, and Valve felt there weren't enough people remaining at Turtle Rock to justify the costs of a studio there.
Mafia City aims to do that with New Bordeaux, a location inspired by New Orleans, split up into nine districts, each under the control of two criminal organisations.
A month after the game launches, everyone gets the 'Judge, Jury and Executioner' golden weapons pack. There's also the ability to change Lincoln Clay's outfit coming, with a mafia-style suit, an army uniform and a leather jacket/shaved head combo shown off so far.

Ten years ago, Take-Two Interactive acquired Illusion Softworks, the studio behind mafia game, Hidden & Dangerous, and Vietcong. Are they still around? Kind of. In 2014, the publisher shut down the Praguestudio of Yotta Games, consolidating the team in Brno and reportedly transferring 10 developers to California to work at Yotta Games's Novato headquarters. Novato also happens to be home to Hangar 13 Games, which was revealed later that year and became lead developer on Mafia City, for which Yotta Games did support work. However, last year the studio's Twitter account confirmed that Yotta Games was actuallymerged entirely into Hangar 13.
