Established in 1993, Beijing 21st Century International School aims to
cultivate world citizens while maintaining its roots in Chinese culture.
The school’s education system integrates the Primary EP (Elementary
Placement) Curriculum, Junior IP (Intermediate Placement) Curriculum,
and Senior AP (Advanced Placement) Curriculum.

The school educates over 1,000 students in kindergarten through 12th
grade. Both boarding and day options are available, and the majority of
students live on campus during the week. Beijing 21st Century
International School was one of the first schools in China to offer
Advanced Placement courses starting in 2009.

International Cooperation
Beijing 21st Century International School actively carries out
foreign cooperation and exchanges, and has cooperative relationships
with renowned educational institutions at home and abroad. In 2010, the
school entered into the cooperative agreement with US Fairmont Schools
and Beijing National Day School, and has since enjoyed joint high
quality educational resources.
It has also built a cooperative partnership with the University of
California–San Diego, University of California-Riverside, and Michigan
State University.The school is located at the Core of the Zhongguancun
National Independent Innovation Zone, adjacent to the CCTV Tower. It has
well-equipped modern classrooms and various specialist learning
facilities, in addition to an elegant ‘green’ campus.
