Aug. 2 is one of the earliest standard-edition release dates in the history of the franchise, which typically rolls out its new game toward the end of the month. That will allow gamers more time to get a feel for "Madden NFL 20" before the 2019 NFL season begins Sept. 5.
'Madden NFL 20' price: How much does each edition cost?
There are three versions of "Madden NFL 20" coming out: Standard, Superstar and Ultimate Superstar. Here's how the prices vary by edition and what you'll get for your money.
This game has all of the typical features you need. As the name suggests, it's your standard version of Madden with no added features or MUT upgrades.
'Madden NFL 20' Superstar Edition: $80
This version releases three days early and also contains 12 Gold Team Ultimate packs and one Training item. So, if you want to start on the sticks early, or if you're really into Madden Ultimate Team, then this version might be for you. Otherwise, it would make sense to wait and save the extra $20.
'Madden NFL 20' Ultimate Superstar Edition: $100
Similar to the superstar version, you get to play the game three days early, but this version comes with a few extra features like one QB Legend for your Ultimate Team, 16 Gold packs, one Core Elite player from any team and one Training item. ABB-backed start-up’s $6,600 robot designed to replace ‘tasks, not jobs’
Tucked away in a small converted warehouse in London is the office of Automata, a British start-up working on a machine it thinks might shake up the industrial crp robot space.
Automata makes a tabletop robot arm called Eva. With a ￡4,990 ($6,600) price tag, the machine is designed to be a more compact and affordable alternative to the larger robots that help manufacture everything from cars to phones but typically cost tens of thousands of dollars.
That was one thing that led Swiss engineering giant ABB to invest in the company early on, co-founder Suryansh Chandra told CNBC in an interview. The firm contributed to Automata’s seed funding, and more recently backed a $7.4 million investment in the company.
“We were still a two-people company with a prototype we could carry around in our backpack, which was insane for ABB because their robots weigh 50 kilos,” Chandra said.
Stepping foot in Automata’s offices, a group of its machines can be seen perched around a table. They’re communicating with each other, picking up empty cans, using a camera to check whether they have the right lid — one lid has a black mark to show it’s faulty — and then sending them along a conveyor belt to decide which can passes and which fails.
The display is just one demonstration of Eva in action. Chandra shows a video of the robotic arm lifting a large metal sheet to take it from one spot in a factory to another. This is a job that was previously filled by a female worker in her 20s, fellow co-founder Mostafa ElSayed said.
That staffer hasn’t been made redundant, however. She now programs the robot herself, and “gets to think about how to roll it out in the rest of the factory,” ElSayed said.
Piyush Goyal for making GeM portal more simple to attract MSME players
Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has directed officials handling public procurement portal GeM to make it more simple, less time consuming and attractive to attract vendors, especially from the MSME sector. The portal comes under the administrative control of the commerce ministry.
The ministry in a statement said that possibilities may be explored for incentivising ministries and states who procure more products and services from GeM.
He also directed the officers to maximize the use of GeM to ensure transparency and saving in procurements.Quoting the minister, the statement said, "the procedure for using the GeM platform has to be made more simple, less time consuming and attractive so that more and more vendors, especially from the MSME sector, come on board".
Ease of getting registered on the GeM platform has to be ensured so that public sector banks, PSUs, ministries and departments of states and local bodies at the district level are able to procure from the platform easily and smoothly, he added.
The meeting also discussed ways of bringing in external technical experts for specialized products required by railways, oil companies, and health sector so that more categories are created in GeM in shortest time and complaints about substandard material are completely eliminated.
"Greater transparency and quality of products must be ensured on the platform in order to get railways, defence, telecom and PSUs like oil, power, heavy industry to place orders worth more than Rs 1 lakh crore through the GeM," Goyal said.
The ministry launched the GeM on August 9, 2016 with an objective of creating an open and transparent procurement platform for government departments, ministries and agencies.
As of now, over ten lakh goods and over 13,000 services are registered on the platform.
Sensex plummets 560 points, bank, auto stocks bleed

Replying to a debate on the Finance Bill in Parliament after market hours on Thursday, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman dismissed the argument that the proposed hike in tax on the super-rich would spook foreign portfolio investors (FPIs).
She said the tax hike on individuals earning more than Rs 2 crore will not impact FPIs provided they organise themselves as a company.
Narendra Solanki, Head Fundamental Research (Investment Services) - AVP Equity Research, Anand Rathi Shares & Stock Brokers, said the market was spooked by the finance minister's comments and hardened stance on new tax proposals for market participants.
On a net basis, foreign institutional investors sold equities worth Rs 1,404.86 crore Thursday, while domestic institutional investors purchased shares to the tune of Rs 329.05 crore, provisional data available with stock exchanges showed.
"Also, the IMF data showed India's current account balance deficit grew to USD 68 billion in 2018-19 from USD 49 billion the previous year also added to the already negative sentiments," Solanki added.
Elsewhere in Asia, Shanghai Composite Index, Hang Seng, Kospi and Nikkei ended up to 2 per cent higher after US Federal Reserve officials hinted at aggressive rate cuts at its July 30-31 policy meeting.

Apparently, we’re slow to the game as she first gained popularity back in 2017, but she’s just started on her second season of short videos on Youku. It’s the perfect time to start watching. Altogether there are 68 videos in the first season and three in the second at the time of writing. Ziqi aims to produce one new video each week.Born in Mianyang, Sichuan, Ziqi was orphaned at a young age and moved in with her grandparents in the countryside. She lived and worked in the city as a young adult, but chose to return to the countryside to take care of her grandmother after her grandfather passed away.
She started to shoot and edit incredible videos highlighting ancient-style recipes and techniques for cooking. She does everything herself from harvesting the ingredients, scavenging for mushrooms, mashing beans on a hand-cranked stone grinder, and cooking the final dish on a wok over an old-school fire oven. The only technology is her DSLR camera and fancy Apple iMac.
She even has videos showcasing how to make bamboo furniture, craft wool clothes from scratch, and D.I.Y. printmaking! All these videos take place in an idyllic, peaceful nature setting. It’s a relaxing change from the usual hustle and bustle of China.

A word of warning though: every single dish she creates looks absolutely amazing. You will be consumed by food cravings, and there’s no way to get homestyle dishes like these unless you hop on the next plane to Sichuan.
