you probably care about more than all the rest. I’m talking of course
about the shiny new WoW Burning Crusade Classic mounts. Well, new as far
as the Classic servers are concerned. All these mounts have of course

First off we have the new racial mounts coming in the form of Hawkstriders for Blood Elves and Elekks for Draenei. There will be six color variants for each race, including three Epic ones. Hawkstriders and Elekks will be just as easy to obtain as any other racial mount provided you’re playing the new races. If not, getting them will be a bit of hassle because you’ll need Exalted rep with Silvermoon and/or The Exodar.
Next, we have the standard Windriders for the Horde and Gryphons for the Alliance. With flying being one of the main features coming in World of Warcraft Burning Crusade Classic, you’ll want to get your hands on one of these puppies asap. You’ll only be able to do so once you reach level 70 and it will cost you 900 gold if you also include the training cost. Make sure you save up.
These include black versions of armored racial mounts along with Dark Riding Talbuks and Dark War Talbuks. The latter two can be obtained by gathering Halaa tokens in Nagrad’s open PvP area while the others are obtained by gathering Marks from various Battlegrounds. If you’re planning to do a lot of PvP in WoW Burning Crusade Classic, it shouldn’t take you too long to get your hands on one of these mounts. If not, you’ll want to look into some of the other options.

The Amani War Bear was removed and replaced with the Amani Battle Bear in the retail version of WoW. The original bear is still impossible to get on retail but it should be fairly easy in Burning Crusade Classic.
This one drops from Kael’thas Sunstrider in the Magister’s Terrace and has around a 4% drop chance on retail. However, it is believed the drop chance used to be somewhat higher back in the original TBC. The mount has the distinction of being the only Hawkstrider usable by Alliance players.
This is one of two craftable flying mounts coming with the new Engineering profession. The mount only requires Expert riding skill, which isn’t too bad, but you’ll also need a lot of expensive materials in order to craft it, not to mention almost maxed out Engineering (350) to be able to use it. You can save yourself some mats by buying the mount from the auction house, but you’ll still need the appropriate Engineering skill regardless.

With no server downtime leading up to the big transition from vanilla WoW to Burning Crusade Classic, Blizzard really nailed the execution necessary to have this gigantic MMO expand like the great adventure that it is. Blizzard has had its fair share of disastrous online releases over the decades, but this wasn’t one of them.
Without a hitch, we were able to again experience the iconic moment when waves of players charged forward together, their passion for continuing the quest they started years ago fueling their push into the unknown.
